With the new year coming up this means a fresh new line of wedding dresses from all of your favorite designers. The 2020 collections have some wedding gowns that will leave you daydreaming about having them all! Overall, the gowns are romantic, regal, classic, and everything you would want in a dress. After browsing over several collections, we have found eight dress styles that will definitely be making an appearance next wedding season!

1. Off the Shoulder

You will never fail to be the most elegant bride in an off the shoulder dress. This style is perfect for showing off your shoulders without going strapless and adding that extra element to spice it up. We will be seeing off the shoulder dresses everywhere in this next wedding season and they are for sure going to make an impression!

2. Mikado

Dresses made with mikado fabric are going to be huge next season! This sort of fabric makes a dress look so simple while giving off the perfect sheen to make you sparkle. This fabric adds volume and structure to a dress that is typically seen on a ballgown or princess cut. If you’re wanting to look like complete royalty, a mikado dress is calling your name!

3. Sheer Fabric

There’s just something about adding sheer fabric to a dress that makes it look so romantic. We will be seeing sheer fabric added to so many dresses in the upcoming wedding seasons. It can be added on all types of dress styles whether it’s a ballgown, A-line, mermaid, or sheath. It’s so versatile as it can be on the bodice or arms and can be left as is or with floral detailing. It’s also very intimate, giving off the illusion of seeing bare skin while still being covered!

4. Floral Print

Floral printed dresses are out and there’s no stopping them from being a dress trend for each season in 2020. Floral print gives off a girly, flirty feel to a wedding gown and will look amazing for any wedding theme you’re going for. Floral print will also add a modern chic look to a traditional dress and you simply can’t go wrong!

5. Beaded Bodice

Not a floral or lace type of gal? Good news;, dresses decorated with a beaded bodice are making an appearance next season! Most of these dresses are only beaded at the top and have a flowy, chiffon fabric at the bottom for some added simplicity. This will be a fun, new dress style that is so unique you’ll be sure to stand out among other brides.

6. Plunging Neckline

Make way for the plunging necklines next season! Sometimes brides are hesitant to go for the deep v-necklines on their wedding day, but rest assured that when done the right way, this dress style can be just as classy and elegant as the others. Whether you’re styling a ball gown or a fit and flare, this neckline will look stunning in so many ways!

7. Sleeves

We are so excited sleeves are going to be showing up next season! Designers have found any way possible to incorporate this sophisticated and snazzy feature to all dress styles. In the new 2020 collections, sleeves look great on all silhouettes and can be worn in any season. A bride wearing sleeves always looks like a million bucks and will feel that way in these new dresses!

8. Open Back

A dress with an open back pretty much speaks for itself. This sort of dress style is as romantic and charming as they come. Several designers have included a dress style with an open back in their upcoming collections. Perfect for warmer weather and showing some skin while still looking effortlessly flawless, this dress style will no doubt make an impression on everyone.
